Hi! I’m a professional journalist and writer. I was born in Moscow, Russia. My father was a famous nonfiction filmmaker, and my mother was a journalist also managing her own PR agency.
I was graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) with a Master Degree in journalism and political PR. I worked for several Russian federal newspapers as an editor, as well as a correspondent for American and European magazines. I also volunteered as a Women rights social worker and had my own journalists classes. I’m a member of International Federation of Journalists and a recipient of numerous honors. Once I moved to the United States with my family, I became a freelance translator and a community activist in my neighborhood in New York, NY. My book about female artists who immigrated to America from former Soviet Union was published in 2014. If you are interested, you can buy it online (Amazon.com or Barnesandnoble.com) or find in in the New York Public Library catalog.
